Casey Cease: August 2011

Church Planting. Business. Leadership. Life. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. Over the last several years, I have been thinking a lot about the modern 'worship movement' that is taking place in the Church today and the emphasis on personal worship. There is such a huge emphasis on worship style, methods, songs, etc. that we can quickly miss the One whom deserves our worship. Furthermore, what has come of the corporate worship experience? Plus, aren't we called to worship God as a people, not just as a person?

Church Planting. Business. Leadership. Life. Thursday, February 10, 2011. Suffer Well or Grumble. I thought my fever was gone and I was on the mend. I know better than that, but what's wrong with being hopeful? As I laid in bed, wearing pajama pants, socks, t-shirt, and a fleece, while underneath a sheet, blanket, and comforter shivering, I was reminded that I have a choice, even when I suffer of who or what I will worship. For our church plant. To be honest, I have been tempted a few times to grumble ab...

Thursday, August 20, 2009. Obama's Health Plan Won't Matter. Being that I am a health care provider. It seems like everyone wants to know what I think about the possible reformatting of our health care system. I have given it some thought and I have come up with an answer. But before I give it to you, I must first say this. So now my answer to the question….it doesn’t really matter. Before anyone gets upset, let me clarify. Let me ask you some questions. How many people have health insurance? You see, we...

The Cultural Experience: Kickoff
http://theculturalexperience.blogspot.com/2009/09/kickoff.html
Thursday, September 3, 2009. Years passed, and I took no interest in the game of football. There was even a time I criticized the game as having nothing to do with the foot. It seemed the rest of the world had it right in referring to soccer as football. Indeed, I had many a conversation with my international friends about the seeming misnomer while I was living in Europe. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). 2009 Festival Line Up.
