This is what I love to find, things that are handmade SO well that they've stood the test of time but have seen better days, and are just waiting for a little TLC! Monday, May 19, 2014. It's got some sort of drawer inset in it, could be for spools of thread or could be for pencils, I have no idea. It came to me with only one drawer pull, so the hunt was on. But the first thing I found out was that the screw holes were too close together! Modern drawer pulls have holes 3" apart. So I had to plug them and drill them out again. Sunday, September 15, 2013. Sort of. I grew my potato plants four tires high, and when the time for the unveiling finally came I dismantled them one tire at a time.no potatoes. Not until I got to the bottom tire of each tower were there any potatoes, and the ones that were there were very small.some barely bigger than peas!
