Opened its doors in July 2006. It is owned by Mark and Nicki (bookselling novices when they started) and assisted by a fantastic team of hardworking book lovers: Ellie, Karen, Julia, Oliver and Simon. We have tried to create the kind of bookshop we always loved to visit, and many booksellers (both in the UK and worldwide) have given us advice and support, without which we wouldn't be the shop we are today. Bookgroups at Mostly Books. We now have four thriving bookgroups, so if you fancy broadening your reading and meeting some like minded book enthusiasts - be challenged and find some new authors to enjoy. Our Wednesday evening bookgroup. Meets at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month (in the shop). Our Thursday evening bookgroup. Meets at 7pm on the third Thursday of the month (in the shop). Our Wednesday daytime bookgroup. Meets at 10.30am on the last Wednesday of the month (in the shop).
