Leh’d Back and Chilling- The Blog. World Challenge Blog for Ladakh, India. Leh – Day 2. July 23, 2008 at 10:49 am · Filed under Trekking. Leh is fantatstic, so so so much nicer than dirty Delhi. The weather here is awesome, about 28 degrees, and no biting insects! Last night we were treated to an evening of traditional dancing, which, after by the time it had finished left us thoroughly knackered having been up since 3! Food was awesome, all edible, even James is eating things he hasn;t tried before!

Today we sampled the watery delights that Leh has to offer on a trip of a lifetime down the River Indus, in rather flimsy rubber boats. The safety conditions may have given World Challenge a heart attack but they all worked nicely in sweet harmony.
