60° Diamond EPP Quilt-Along. Monday, July 13, 2015. Monday Morning Star Count, July 13, 2015. One last apple core post and then I'll go back to other shapes (I've got pentagons, triangles, half hexies and hexies in my bag as I type this.). First you take off the brown paper backing and then use the inner lines to center your fussy cut. Can't get this pic to load right side up, sorry fox and bunny! For the drawstring bag in my last post, I only fussy cut one print (I wanted to focus on these little Timele...

60° Diamond EPP Quilt-Along. Monday, August 10, 2015. Gotham Quilts' Yuma Blog Hop! I am so proud of having this quilt top done. Forgive the ugly indoor classroom photo! I brought it to school today because our campus is gorgeous, but couldn't find anyone to help with a photo shoot during lunch! Here, this is one from my backyard yesterday. You know, the more I look at this, the more I like it. Look look, I even got a large amount of my points to match (enough for me). So, about the pattern. Now, I am no...

Passionate Purple Quilter: Quickie Baby Quilt
http://pam-purplequilter.blogspot.com/2015/06/quickie-baby-quilt.html
I am a passionate purple quilter. I am passionate about purple, and passionate about quilting. Saturday, June 13, 2015. Today I took my machine in for servicing. I need to pull out a Featherweight machine in order to have a sewing machine to use for the next two weeks until I can pick up my other sewing machine. JoAnn ( Scene Through My Eyes). Cute cute cute. Some of those panels make the cutest quilts - love the colors. You said one of the Featherweights, do you have more than one? Lucky you if you do.

Passionate Purple Quilter: July 2014
http://pam-purplequilter.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
I am a passionate purple quilter. I am passionate about purple, and passionate about quilting. Wednesday, July 9, 2014. This is a little play mat that I sewed up for my grandson. He loves to play with his cars and trains. Since this piece was small enough, I quilted this myself on my sewing machine. I was so excited when I finished it. I just knew he would love it. Did Baby Boy just reject the prized play mat that his wonderful grandmother had crafted so lovingly for him? My hubby tried to boost my spiri...

Passionate Purple Quilter: One More Baby Quilt
http://pam-purplequilter.blogspot.com/2015/07/one-more-baby-quilt.html
I am a passionate purple quilter. I am passionate about purple, and passionate about quilting. Saturday, July 11, 2015. One More Baby Quilt. My Viking sewing machine was in for servicing. After we picked up my Viking from the shop I brought it home and set it up right away. I sewed down the binding with the Viking and it worked out great. No skipped stitches. I did use a bigger needle size on the Viking than I had on the Featherweight. I wonder if that helped the skipping problem? Oooohh, I love it Pam!

Life Under Quilts: Ribbon block tutorial
http://lifeunderquilts.blogspot.com/2011/08/ribbon-block-tutorial.html
60° Diamond EPP Quilt-Along. Saturday, August 6, 2011. Asked if I could point him to some directions for my ribbon block. Which I made up last February. At the time, I took pics to make a tutorial, thinking I'd use the block for my month in a bee, but changed my mind. Now's as good a time to share it as any, right? Start with a square (I think mine was 9"). Make a slice to one side of center, cutting the block into roughly 3/5 and 2/5. Add in a strip of fabric. On to the next round. August 6, 2011 at 10:...
