Becoming Ironman: Legacy: Race Report: Ironman Wisconsin
http://becomingironman.blogspot.com/2006/09/race-report-ironman-wisconsin.html
The continuing saga of an Ironman athlete collecting white lines and mileage signs. Wednesday, September 13, 2006. Race Report: Ironman Wisconsin. I spent the rest of Friday night packing up my transition bags. The weather forecast now was calling for high 50's and overcast, with winds of 5-10mph and no rain, with only a 30% chance of showers in the evening. Perfect! I slept soundly from 10:15 to about 12:45. I'd race with about 2.5 hours of sleep. Is something his son would have done. I packed up and he...

Becoming Ironman: Legacy: On Ironman
http://becomingironman.blogspot.com/2011/09/on-ironman.html
The continuing saga of an Ironman athlete collecting white lines and mileage signs. Tuesday, September 06, 2011. I've charted a course to Ironman again for 2013. I had toyed, a year ago, with the idea of doing Ironman again in 2012, but it's been one thing after another this year, making those plans unfeasible. But much more than that, the switch wasn't on. I wanted to race Ironman again. But I wasn't invested yet in becoming. Inevitably, after finishing a first Ironman. On my bike this weekend, while co...

Pierre’s Hole – 2014
http://joshtostado.com/pierres-hole-2014
Endurance Mountain Bike Athlete. Pierre’s Hole – 2014. August 25, 2014. After racing Pierre’s Hole. Several years ago I’ve been wanting to make the trip back to Grand Targhee Ski Resort. Was in perfect view, with a cloud getting sliced in half by the summit. At the start of the third lap, Cary had a four-minute lead on me and I was just trying to stay strong for the rest of the race. After a wet and muddy start to the race, the trail had dried up and was riding like a dream! 12 Hours in the Wild West.

Endurance Mountain Bike Athlete. Vapor Trail – 2014. September 15, 2014. The Vapor Trail 125. What a great race, 125 miles of some of the best riding in Colorado, 20,000 feet of climbing and all at night! What’s not to love? Was smashing everything in sight and with the new Niterider Enduro 2200. Lighting the way, I could go as fast as I wanted. After about an hour and 20 minute climb, I was at the top of Monarch Pass. This is always my favorite section of the race! Next post: True Grit – 2015.
