Wednesday, March 25, 2015. You've Got (random) Mail. We spent less than 24 hours in Dallas over the weekend for GT to run the Dallas Rock n Roll half-marathon. More on that later, because that beast (race or GT? You decide) deserves it's own attention/post. But, as i sat in the car awaiting GT to make it to the mile marker at which i was waiting, i was scrolling through random bits of internet trivia.naturally. Did you know that You've Got Mail. Came out in 1998? Almost 17 years ago! That blows my mind.

In a (lazy) effort to keep our life semi-documented i am uploading photos that represent a small portion of our life over the past coupla months or so. Hang on, it's alot,. But let's start easy. Lunches with Mamaw Lou. The DC 500 in DFW. GTs asked me to go the last 2 years, but i haven't been able to because of babies, babies or school. This year i drove over for the day and actually had a great time.

Saturday, June 28, 2014. Captain America crashes the party! Beau's party to be exact! His 4 year old party! Celebrating Beau is so much fun! He is our oldest nephew, so we are learning the ropes from him. He is always up for a party and loves to be with his family. The party was at Jamie's sisters house about a month or so ago and the guests included our family. It was just perfect. Honestly, Beau loves being with his cousins more than anyone. So, it was the perfect guest list for him! The three of us.

Friday, January 30, 2015. As you all know, last night we bid farewell to the Bravermans. Admittedly, i cried at some point in every single episode of Parenthood that i watched. Along with the rest of America. I'm assuming that everyone watches this show, of course. The shows theme song is "Forever Young" and it is one of my all time favorites. And i'm pretty certain I am not alone in that. On that (Forever Young) note, have you seen Young@Heart. This clip isn't from the film, but i found it on YouTube.

Monday, May 25, 2015. Ten months with Townes. You are becoming a little guy and leaving the baby stage behind. And i'm not quite ready for that transition. You are still very much a snuggler who likes to be held. But you are increasingly interested in the world around you. And your moments of quiet are getting fewer and farther between. You are pulling up on things. And will let go with one hand, but aren't quite ready to make any moves with your feet. You are very entertained with grass. You love to eat.
