Maslow's Madcows: Waitless in Dallas
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2012/07/waitless-in-dallas.html
Friday, July 6, 2012. I was so excited for my pre-b-day dinner that Adam had planned for me at Suze. We had been there before when I was pregnant with Maison so I had to miss out on some of the best bites and of course the wine so I was looking forward to our return visit. Suze owner and Chef Gilbert Garza is the husband of Lisa Garza who was a finalist on Next Food Network Star. After diner, we decided to stop at Obzeet. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Maslow's Madcows: February 2012
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Tuesday, February 28, 2012. I just received this letter in the mail:. Apparently if you did only ONE triathlon in 2011 yet finished in the top ten of your age group you qualify to compete against the "Best of the Best" in Dallas Triathlon. Had I received such a letter in 2010 when I finished in the top ten 3 times and had 1 podium finish (hey! 3rd place is still podium) I would have thought I stood a chance. But my first thought when I received this letter (well first thought after what the? Tap, tap, ta...

Kristi's Creative Ramblings: February 2009
http://kristiscreativeramblings.blogspot.com/2009_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 21, 2009. So, I had a pretty rough few days this past week. Friday was definitely the worst of them. Chris is usually pretty good of talking me through things and being the "voice of reason" when I get all stressed out. Last night, he came home from work with two "pick-me-up" gifts. Green mixing bowls and pretty flowers. Does he know me or what? At 2/21/2009 03:46:00 PM. Friday, February 20, 2009. Six years that have finally paid off. C: "Mom, will you cheer for me at practice? So, you...

Maslow's Madcows: Parading the 4th
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2012/07/parading-4th.html
Wednesday, July 4, 2012. We just got back from the Plano Fourth of July parade. I haven't been since I was a child and either it's changed quite a bit in the last 30 years or I don't recall it being completely lame and full of political advertisements. I'm bored, where's the all the floats and hoopla I was promised? To Maison it is all the same, she doesn't care if a politician or Ronald McDonald is handing her a flag to wave or throwing her candy; she thinks it's fantastic. HAPPY 4th of July! Maison whi...

Friday, June 29, 2012. While having dinner at Fearings. We had a surprise visitor drop by our table to say hi. Chef Dean Fearing himself! Thursday, June 28, 2012. Just checked into the Zaza for a weekend of spaing, gossiping, drinking and what-noting with my besties. Can't wait.couldn't come at a better time! Tuesday, June 26, 2012. Due to some computer error (maybe the one that held up getting timing chips assigned? The times announced on race day are all right but the rankings are different. As they ca...

Maslow's Madcows: November 2011
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 30, 2011. The Ear is Connected to the Stomach. I had a consult with Dr. Russo this morning regarding Maison's c-diff relapse. His recommended course of treatment is ear surgery. Yes, you heard me right. Ear surgery to solve a G.I. issue. Nasal drainage leads to ear infections. Ear infections lead to antibiotics. Antibiotics lead to c-diff. So to ward off possible c-diff infections he is recommending ear tubes. Apparently, every part of the body IS connected! Monday, November 28, 2011.

Maslow's Madcows: Happy to be THERE ~ Telluride Vacay Day 3
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2012/07/happy-to-be-there-telluride-vacay-day-3.html
Wednesday, July 18, 2012. Happy to be THERE Telluride Vacay Day 3. We hit the trails early this morning with the jog strollers again and wouldn't you know that when the terrain was stroller friendly the kids have decided they would rather walk than ride.sigh! But the kids are getting along great and Tate, Kari and Lee's oldest son, has been so helpful with the little ones. I think they prefer to all 3 walk together rather than riding separately. After a relaxing afternoon, we headed out to dinner with pl...

Maslow's Madcows: Thankful for wine ~ Telluride Vacay Day 1
http://maslow-madcows.blogspot.com/2012/07/thankful-for-wine-telluride-vacay-day-1.html
Monday, July 16, 2012. Thankful for wine Telluride Vacay Day 1. When we made it to the Ale House in Grand Junction for lunch I could have not been happier. I could not have poured wine down my throat any faster. I'm pretty sure I drank an entire glass before we even ordered our meal. I am so thankful Kari suggested we stop for lunch before driving to Telluride and so thankful that they had decent wine! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Jan 25, 2012 Age 2. Whatcha doing, Mais?
