Poetry within the photographic image – by Ryan Adams. Newer posts →. What I Have to Do. March 26, 2016. 8220;What I Have to Do”. Last night a single goose flew. Over the house, crying and crying. I had just come home from a day. Of shopping. I tried a green skirt that fit. Like a Chinese finger trap. I bought a dusty pink. Elastic scoop neck blouse and my first pair. Of form fitting flared jeans. I found. The perfect pair of sunglasses; finally,. After years of looking, there they were:. Its neck pulled ...
Statement of Purpose | Innerexposure
https://innerexposure.wordpress.com/about
Poetry within the photographic image – by Ryan Adams. I’ve been taking pictures, on and off, since High School. I bought my first film camera, an Olympus, when I was 16. My first digital camera was a Finepix, which I purchased in college, and in 2006 I invested in my first DSLR, a Canon XTi. I use it mostly to photograph birds, but I have recently started taking portraits and landscape. 4 thoughts on “ Statement of Purpose. January 29, 2010 at 7:54 pm. June 16, 2011 at 7:22 pm. Now I’m awake and it’s 10:30 at night and I have no intention of sleeping any time soon. I’m watching Youtube music in a living room that isn’t mine and a house that isn’t mine and there’s no one around except for the voices in my head and the ghosts that are so bad at conversation. It’s all nonsense. Just me talking to myself. You wor...

Some Mad Hope (my author blog): A Memory

Thursday, September 11, 2014. Photo by L. Jackson). In 1993, my husband worked for Dean Witter and spent time in the New York offices in the World Trade Center. He was there when the terrorists set off a bomb in the basement, sitting in the restaurant on the 107th floor, the building swaying with the impact. Maybe that is why, in 2001, it both shocked us, and at the same time seemed like an inevitability we'd somehow missed. Not much is said outside DC about the Pentagon these days. There were not as...

Monday, March 31, 2014. What I Would Have Written if I Could Have. Last week I spent an unexpected 8 days sailing the Caribbean on a catamaran. With barely time enough to get flights and pack, my husband and I left our kids and the winter that would not end for a week in the sun with friends. It was crazy, spontaneous, glorious. and a world away. Thursday 3:30am: Momentarily I wonder, as my alarm goes off, if anywhere is worth going at this time of morning. No Internet. Don't send help. Daily routine est...

Wednesday, December 18, 2013. Hobby Vs. Job: Should there be a distinction in fiction writing? I wrote this post some time ago, after graduating and floundering a bit with what new project to begin. I never finished it and found it when I was culling my posts this week. I have nothing locking me into adult literary fiction. I could write serial middle grade. I could write young adult. I could try a mystery series or focus on short stories for a while. About writing the book that is calling you. On the ot...

Tutoring on Saturday Morning. Since I am not suppose to take on jobs outside of my contract, I do not have them pay. I just ask them to bring some kind of snack or food. These kids are so cute, how could I refuse to say no. The first week, they brought a variety of different kinds of snacks and it was great. Now they bring some homemade Chinese food, which is good. But, not the greatest. They bring some weird dishes. For example,. This entry was posted on November 20, 2011 by Tyna Laoshi.

Inner Expressions Art Therapy
Monday, June 3, 2013. This week in one of my sessions I decided to make art. I don't usually do this. It makes it hard to be present for others when I am immersed in my own art making. This day felt different though. The group was very small for varying reasons and there was only one girl who came. I decided to make art along side her. This week doing art with a client felt right. We worked beside one another and then shared our images and in turn shared a bit about ourselves; it worked out well. Tuesday...

Papers, juornals, revisions, and all around rants. January 18, 2008. Ernest Hemingway was a very important person in the early 1900’s Modernist Movement. And the information in the Kultur biographical video showed me how he was influenced in writing A Farewell to Arms. As well as many of his other works. Overall, the video used Hemingway’s life, including love and loss, to enhance a reader’s understanding of A Farewell to Arms. Was about his expeditions across the continent, For Whom the Bell Tolls.
