Say Goodbye TO A.J. - Blinq

http://inquirer.typepad.com/blinq/2008/03/say-goodbye-to.html

Say Goodbye TO A.J. Has served up a tasty slice of the local snarkosphere ever since A.J. Daulerio. Started blogging for the Philadelphia Magazine site one year ago. It was smart, smart-assed and featured, more than anything, good reporting and writing as he developed into a wise guide to what people were typing in these parts. He came from Deadspin. He returns to Deadspin. Ok, so I want the unprintable version. Meanwhile, heres a slab of his old roast. Mar 27, 2008 7:26:00 PM. Yes Lance Butler an aquati...

Tom Snyder - Blinq

http://inquirer.typepad.com/blinq/2013/12/-30-tom-snyd-1.html

You loved him or you hated him. Maybe you even did a dead-on impersonation of him, collar out, cigarette waving, voice like a cartoon bears? But you watched The Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder. The former Philly noontime host - yes, Daily Sally has a  brush with greatness. 0160;- is  dead at 71. Dec 1, 2013 9:25:05 PM. The comments to this entry are closed. What Is The Frequency, Kenneth? I spent the morning with Emily Brecker Greenberg, who I knew as the head of my local school board until I realized she was also the sister of Randy and Michael Brecker, the Brecker Brothers, whose music Ive spent about 30 years listening to. Michael died last January from complications of leukemia. He had a rare blood disorder, and failed to find a proper bone marrow match. Emily made a promise to him, which is the subject of a column next week. Mar 19, 2008 3:29:00 PM. Rebar Rebar without the concrete.

Not THAT Big Damned Fish! Someone trawling Philly.com for bias at 9:50 this morning might have jumped to the wrong conclusion, seeing the promotional space for blogs. The big damned fish were talking about wasnt Bill Clinton. It referred to the picture that. Been there, of a giant striped bass plucked from the Schuylkill. Maybe its that the pictures and the display copy update at slightly different paces on the home page, so this was just a momentary thing. We love Bill around here, you know?

Monday, April 03, 2006. It Comes Out In The Wash. Breaks the big one today. Manhattan District Attorney says he's working on a settlement. This week a federal judge served up former Environmental Protection Agency chief Christine Todd Whitman. Only, Whitman’s not the only one to blame. It’s no secret that the White House leaned on the E.P.A. To reassure New Yorkers that it was safe to return to work. Their chief concern? Restarting Wall Street and the financial markets. Saturday, February 11, 2006. And here it is. Our fearsome (for the time being) logo. I hired a first-rate NYC design firm, and boy did this thing cost me a pretty penny.
