Random Access Babble: On My Love For Cowboys
http://randomaccessbabble.blogspot.com/2007/02/on-my-love-for-cowboys.html
Tuesday, February 27, 2007. On My Love For Cowboys. For a geeky New Yorker with a tech job who loves Hillary Clinton. And vodka gimlets and video games I know a lot about cowboys. I know some of you are now giggling to yourself and thinking “Silly Brianna, cowboys aren’t real! 8221; (Hi Amy! Of course cowboy stereotypes aren’t all favorable. Earlier this year I attended Pro Bull Riding at. And horses and chewing tobacco. Interspersed between the poetry styling’s of the manliest men in. Who I’m sure...

Random Access Babble: August 2014
http://randomaccessbabble.blogspot.com/2014_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 20, 2014. Casper, Month 9. Every month I am shocked again that, somehow, a whole month has passed. Here we are at time number 9 of feeling this exact same way. 9 month dude. 9. You’ve developed a weird snorting hiss that you perform, paired with arm flailing and clasping hand. Motions, when you get very excited. It’s both adorable and the nerdiest thing ever. Early in the month I captured the following tale of woe for posterity. 8221; - obviously this jinxed everything. Poop. So...For t...

Random Access Babble: Casper, Month 11
http://randomaccessbabble.blogspot.com/2014/10/casper-month-11.html
Saturday, October 18, 2014. Casper, Month 11. Of the month we gave in and brought you into our bed where everyone could sleep - me with a baby foot in my face but it (mostly) beat trying and failing over and over and over to put you down. Whatever the core issue eventually mom and dad brought the sleep training hammer back down on you and we cried it out together and now, again, we all sleep all night (separately). Remember last month when I said that you loved me most of all? In my country the song is a...

Random Access Babble: Casper, Months 13 and 14
http://randomaccessbabble.blogspot.com/2015/01/casper-months-13-and-14.html
Sunday, January 25, 2015. Casper, Months 13 and 14. Dear Squirm-bot 5000,. As you get older, I get lazier (or is it more tired? Hard to say.). Welcome to this decade's answer to laziness - the listicle! Things Casper Can Do. Like a penguin. Like a baby fawn. Like a drunken sailor. Like the most efficient and ridiculous version of all three of these things put together. Find specific books and bring them to an adult to be read. Do not know your shapes. I should be one of those parents who brags about her ...

READ MY MIND: I'm sick and tired of you!
http://read--my--mind.blogspot.com/2008/04/im-sick-and-tired-of-you.html
Wednesday, 23 April 2008. I'm sick and tired of you! Okay Flu, so you caught me, or rather, I caught you, though I had no intention of doing so. Now that you've stayed with me the past three days, giving me sleepless nights and sleepy days, when do you plan on taking your leave? Would get the point and take a hike. Let me say it loud and clear now so you understand me this time. GET LOST! I had a bout of the flu in Feb/March, and it lasted for ever and ever. Ugh. I hates it. 29 April 2008 at 18:04.

READ MY MIND: May 2008
http://read--my--mind.blogspot.com/2008_05_01_archive.html
Thursday, 15 May 2008. I'm done with my exams at last. I'm done with graduation. It'll be months before my results are out and more months before my convocation, but I'm pretty much done with graduation. And while there's a sense of accomplishment. And happiness that I've gotten through 15 years of education unscathed, there's this feeling of dread too. Until. Now it's been easy for me, I always loved science and maths so when I finished my tenth I knew which way to go,and by the end of pre.

READ MY MIND: June 2008
http://read--my--mind.blogspot.com/2008_06_01_archive.html
Monday, 23 June 2008. My trip to Chennai. I'd been to Chennai (Madras) for the last four days. I'd gone to answer an entrance exam there. Boy had studied there for the last two years and from what I'd heard, I had very low expectations from the place, but to my surprise I was amazed at how big and beautiful the city actually is. Here are a few pictures I took on the 16 hour train journey. These pictures are of Kerala. A few years ago. It's know for it's numerous coconut trees. Take a look at these. The c...

The Light(er) Side of Growing Up. Saturday, March 31. Don't call. Never call. Always show up. I know, I've been a little lazy with posting. Not lazy so much as preoccupied. With lots of things. The Light(er) Side of Growing Up: Drum roll please
http://thelightersideofgrowingup.blogspot.com/2007/05/drum-roll-please_09.html
The Light(er) Side of Growing Up. Wednesday, May 9. For real this time. I know I was all talk for a while - well, let's be honest. I was all whiny. Blah blah blah, I don't like my blog layout, waaah. Sorry about that. But I finally decided to up and leave Blogger and create a new site. I don't have a new domain name yet, but I figure I'll do it one step at a time. [Me, take things slowly? That, my friends, is where I will be. Somewhere over the rainbow. Posted by Ashley at 2:42 PM. Links to this post:.
