Sauce for the Goose: January 2014
http://goosesauce.blogspot.com/2014_01_01_archive.html
Sauce for the Goose. Musings of a frazzled mom, wife, student, and traveller through life in an itty bitty town. More reading for pleasure. Lately it seems I only read for class, or inane crap on the internet. While there's plenty of delightful entertainment out there, there's also plenty of timesuck. I do also read articles on subjects that interest me, but I feel my patience for long-form literature waning with each bite-sized blurb. I need to rebuild stamina. More writing for pleasure. I HATE WINTER&#...

Sauce for the Goose. Musings of a frazzled mom, wife, student, and traveller through life in an itty bitty town. As I tick projects off my list, I am renewing my own focus on reading and writing for pleasure. Nora over at Chez Pez. Unwittingly tipped me off to Think Kit, so I joined the party late, but will use the prompts to kickstart my own narcissistic writing efforts! Nothing like a strict word count to kick off our month of blogging.just kidding! Or are you the King of Selfies? The Frugal Life News.

Sauce for the Goose. Musings of a frazzled mom, wife, student, and traveller through life in an itty bitty town. All roads lead home. I'm sitting on the patio of our camping chalet at Camping Het Amsterdamse Bos, enjoying a cool breeze, watching the bunnies swarm the grounds, and wondering where the last two weeks have flown. We have had adventure and misadventure, climbed the Scottish midlands and strolled the North Sea beach at Den Haag, and as much as we have enjoyed it, we are ready to be home. They ...

Sauce for the Goose. Musings of a frazzled mom, wife, student, and traveller through life in an itty bitty town. Sometime in the past twenty years or so, it became de rigueur for a restaurant server to check in with a table after the food arrives, and ask, "How is everything tasting? This has irritated me from the first time I ever heard it. I could never quite put my finger on why it bothers me so much. Does it focus too much on the food and not enough on the rest of the dining experience? It was a head...

Musings from the loft: Half way through January
http://musingsfromtheloft.blogspot.com/2011/01/half-way-through-january.html
Musings from the loft. Saturday, January 15, 2011. Half way through January. I'm starting to get a better handle on where my hours go and what causes me to not get things done. Back in October I had picked up a book called '168 Hours: You have more time than you think' by Laura Vanderkam. I made time to read it and modified her weekly hour tracking to fit me. What are my priorities and how do I fit them all in? I'll face that when I get there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sauce for the Goose.

Musings from the loft: Changes
http://musingsfromtheloft.blogspot.com/2011/06/changes.html
Musings from the loft. Monday, June 6, 2011. We're in the middle of two solar and one lunar eclipses. And boy does it show. Communications are up all over the place. Friday I was reading Carole Hyder's book "Conversations with Your Home" and clearly heard my condo start talking to me. We finally settled on a name - Abundant Amore. I've been trying to name this place for years and nothing stuck. Abundant Amore seems to fit, the place likes it, good enough for me. It is when the tail is 16" from the nape o...

The aforementioned kitchen reno has been rethought and scaled back, but still in the works. I did get a new bedroom door in the meantime. I'm fighting off a cold, and Thing 4 is on his second round of antibiotics for a double ear infection. Poor kid. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Twitter Updates 2.2.1: FeedWitter. Sauce for the Goose. Musings of a frazzled mom, wife, student, and traveller through life in an itty bitty town. Well, Happy New Year and all that. So, what's been going on? I found a draft of the Costa Rica trip that I promise to save and add pictures to, but not right now. The trip was wonderful, a long weekend with family that we miss dearly, and the weather was terrific. Our Christmas break has been fun, gathering with the iPastor's family and having all my own Things around. View my complete profile.
