March 6, 2010. 8212; by loong5 @ 6:15 am. 道理是這樣來的 歸根究底，文學始終仍是私人活動，作家埋首稿紙，讀者沉淪書香，其他所謂文學交流活動，似乎都是依附性的，不屬文學的核心範圍 至於劇場，本質上就是一群人在另一群人面前表演，即使大部份劇場作品並未達到 表演者跟觀眾直接對話交流 這樣的前衞級數，但劇場作為一個潛在的公共空間，在表演者籌劃排演和觀眾購票入場的過程裡，人與人之前間的交流一直在發生，這已經蘊含了相當的公共性。 在很久以前的一篇文章中，我曾經引用過社會學家桑內特(Richard Sennett)在 再會吧 公共人 (The Fall of Public Man)的觀點，指出很多香港文學創作者和讀者都缺乏世界主義精神，僅僅把文學視作私密活動，而忘記了文學的公共性面向。 而其他廣大市民則擔當了這個社會劇場的觀眾，他們無法在公共領域中展示其 個性 ，只透過觀看表演者的演出來窺視 個性 之為何物。 用一種最籠統，卻又最容易展開討論的說法， 政治性 就是 權力關係。 8211; –. 1 Comment ». February 21, 2010. 8212; by loong5 @ 12:21 am. 運動 暫時告一段落，可是，和 反高鐵運動 一起成為熱門話題的 世代之論 卻是方興未艾。 為即將 已經爆發的 世代戰爭 提供彈藥的並不只呂教授。 很多人從呂大樂的 四代香港人 中，閱讀出一種關於 第四代人 如何因為 上位 無門，心生挫敗、不滿和忿怨，以至日漸走激進之路的簡便結論，為 80後 激進主義新政治，找到便捷的答案 雖然公平的說，此非作者原意。 可是，比 四代香港人 2007 更早一點出版的一本書 香港的鬱悶 2006 韓江雪、鄒崇銘合著 ，似乎更值得作為伸延閱讀，因為這本書討論的，不是可供容易簡化挪用的 上位論 ，而是 嬰兒潮世代 和後起的 三十世代 相若於呂著所稱的 香港第三代 之間在文化、價值觀和意識形態上的衝突。 我想，對照兩本書的作者如何描述他們共通的論述對象 即 嬰兒潮 一代是很有意思的。 呂大樂在 四代香港人 中所描述的嬰兒潮一代，享有 香港第一代 對他們的接納，給予他們 自由成長的環境。 呂大樂描述這代人的心態是 沒有真正長大 及 自我中心。
