Saturday, November 27, 2004. Blogfession: the new boy in my life. Yes, the time has come for me to make my blogfession. While I remain committed to the belief that some aspects of one's life are not really appropriate post material in the blog environment, I am concerned my recent absence in blogland has become fodder for blogossips, and that's just not on! I'm here to set the record straight. And love at first sight it was, on both our behalves. How rare and beautiful is such an occurrence? We have spen...

irregular muzings: Nine minutes of free Serenity
http://muzekez.blogspot.com/2005/10/nine-minutes-of-free-serenity.html
Saturday, October 08, 2005. Nine minutes of free Serenity. So here's an interesting marketing strategy. Universal, the film company behind Serenity. Have made available the opening sequence of the film. Which you can stream and watch for free. Not a bad idea I'm thinking. While the opening sequence is far from the best moment in the film (er, when is it ever? It does have its moments and mayhaps provide enough enticement for people to go "ooh, I have to know what happens next! Posted at 2:38 pm. Daughter...

Saturday, February 26, 2005. The joys of nature (part II). This morning I was woken (or should that be awoken? The sweet and pleasant melodic stylings of a pair of magpies, filtering peacefully and tunefully through my window,. The raucous screechings of a pair of psychotic pink galahs, sharing their domestic woes with the neighbourhood from the neighbour's palm tree. If you answered (a). Wrong, wroNG, WRONG! To the bottom of the class with you! Did you not pick up on the sarcastic tone of the title?

irregular muzings: July 2004
http://muzekez.blogspot.com/2004_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 29, 2004. Muzing # 037: if I were a rich (wo)man. I would bid on this eBay auction. Or maybe this one. But that would probably be pushing the Tobey Maguire obsession a little too far. Posted at 8:25 pm. Muzing # 036: one review, one recommendation. The Lord of the Rings. And a particularly chuckle-worthy AOL quip are two instances that spring to mind), but I challenge anyone to not be at least somewhat amused by the film. Good entertainment - my Mum enjoyed it too. :-). Posted at 11:47 am.

irregular muzings: Thoughtless, self-involved people
http://muzekez.blogspot.com/2007/07/thoughtless-self-involved-people.html
Sunday, July 08, 2007. Thoughtless, self-involved people. But I'm sure you get my point. I consider these people thoughtless and self-involved. Now, I do believe there are exceptions to this rule - depending on your profession. But the particular person who triggered this here rant is NOT an exception. That person happened to be in the cinema yesterday, *in theory* enjoying the same movie that I was (. Because it was the second time this person's mobile had rung during the movie! No they were not! The fi...

Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Today is the final day of the Lifeline Bookfest. So if you're in Brisbane and you like books, better scurry along to the Convention Centre and check it out! I popped by the 'fest yesterday and to my great delight discovered, besides the books and other paraphernalia, an impressive number of pre-loved soft toys up for grabs! Yes, that's right, I went to the Bookfest and bought a big. stuffed. DUCK! How could I resist such a beautiful creature, abandoned by his previous owner?

irregular muzings: Gut Shot!
http://muzekez.blogspot.com/2007/07/gut-shot.html
Tuesday, July 03, 2007. I had a dream the other night in which a crazed gunman shot me, point blank, right in the stomach. There was no pain, but there sure was a lot of blood. Dream me looked down at it gushing, gushing, gushing out of my belly. Quite disturbing really. Analyse that, dream analyst people! Posted at 8:01 pm. I've consulted the books and it looks like you're harbouring secret desires for men to use their weapons on you. 28 / Female / Brisbane. Daughter / Sister / Auntie. Don't let go.".
