Tuesday, September 23, 2008. Med-Surg Nursing - Quarter 3. Well, I feel the shadow of the next quarter looming. Last quarter was so stressful and busy with nursing care plans and papers and projects that by the end of the quarter, I felt like I went through a jump line for a gang tryout (you know where they line up on both sides and keep hitting you while you walk through a tunnel to the end). I nearly got my butt kicked! I honestly didn't want to hear another thing about babies, butts, boobs, perineums.

Friday, April 10, 2009. Med Surg - Quarter 2 done! Finished my second med surg. Quarter and I gotta say - it wasn't bad at all. As a matter of fact, I would say I was blessed to have had the instructor everyone dreaded. Really, if you were on top of your routine, she was very pleasant to work with. I'm glad I didn't let the rumor mill do any more than scare me (warn me)? Don't get me wrong -all that paperwork took forever! Planning she made us do. She also used the Socratic. Method where she quizzed.

I logged into my account last night to find that half of my images were gone, and they were replaced by a single picture of some shirtless male model that I didn't recognize. The hectic life of a mommy on her way to becoming an RN. Saturday, November 22, 2008. Ok Once again it's been awhile. Since I was last on here, I have passed the NCLEX, gotten a job, went through an 18 week orientation, an started working on my own. Woohoo! It felt like forever! The NCLEX was the worst! I got about 128 questions, and I was totally convinced I failed. I was planning out next semester in my head all morning waiting for my name to show up on the AZBON site. Ugh how frustrating!

Anyway, Riley has been having a ball at VBS. I'm glad I am taking her; she really needs lots of social interaction. I think she is making friends as well.
