Adding The Finishing Touch: One Year Anniversary!
http://lipstikevents.blogspot.com/2012/12/one-year-anniversary.html
Monday, December 10, 2012. One year ago today was by far the most amazing day of my life! It was a cold, bright day and everything went off without a hitch. We decided on a December wedding because I hate the rain. Thankfully our wedding was last year and not this past weekend with all the rain we had. Here are a few pictures from the over 3000 we have! My gorgeous parents walking me down the aisle! My little cousin Nicholas! He is so sweet. Getting ready for our first dance to At Last.

under this danforth roof: Corralling crayons
http://underthisdanforthroof.blogspot.com/2012/10/corralling-crayons.html
Monday, 1 October 2012. Last year I purchased a few of these plastic containers from Lindsay's shop. They have proved to be the perfect little containers for crayons, as inevitably those cardboard boxes break. The OCD side of me likes the way these ones stack, and how pretty the coloured crayons look through the clear plastic (until my daughtered covered them with Dora stickers! under this danforth roof: About a boy
http://underthisdanforthroof.blogspot.com/2012/10/about-boy.html
Saturday, 20 October 2012. I was trolling blogs late one night recently and came across a post on Cup of Jo. About having a baby boy, that totally resonated with me. When I was pregnant with my first child, I told everyone I just wanted a healthy baby, but secretly I. A girl. The importance of having a girl had been instilled in me by my Grandmother who would say ". A daughter is your daughter for the rest of your life, a son is a son 'till he meets a wife". Every time I see him. 22 October 2012 at 13:11.

Friday, August 31, 2012. What to Do with 4 Days of Rain. I usually spend Labor Day Weekend trying to stretch my tan for a few more weeks while floating on the lake; however, Issac will interrupt those plans. We are expected to get 4 days of consistent rain starting late today. My plans of floating, tanning, grilling, etc. will be doused, literally! So, what to do? If the rain does hold off, I will be attending a baseball game tonight. If it doesn't, we will spend more time here. What will you be doing?

Adding The Finishing Touch: Homemade Pasta & A Family Cookbook
http://lipstikevents.blogspot.com/2013/01/homemade-pasta-family-cookbook.html
Tuesday, January 8, 2013. Homemade Pasta and A Family Cookbook. One of my biggest accomplishments of last year, aside from making a baby that is causing me crazy back pain, was making homemade pasta for the first time. We hosted the mister's family for Christmas dinner and homemade pasta was the first course. My parents offered to help but being the stubborn person that I am I refused and was determined to make this on my own. Five years ago I could barely boil water, this was a big accomplishment. Submi...

Turning hope into home: October 2012
http://turninghopeintohome.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Turning hope into home. A blog about all things to do with our home - from interior design to renovation. Friday, October 12, 2012. Mantle improvement - yes / no? So we moved from a large condo into a small house and a lot of my stuff has been tucked away unused - but all that storage space is precious and I'm determined to use it all somewhere. What do you think of this change - did I improve the mantle? Is it too terrible that we just threw al the stuff onto the mantle vs. hanging? Links to this post.
