Interviews and Guest Posts. Review Policy and Contact. Friday, April 11, 2014. Ask Me Blog Tour: Guest Post. Welcome to my stop on the blog tour for Ask Me. By Kimberly Pauley. I'm excited to have Kimberly on the blog today with a guest post! Cat Girl’s Day Off. But a literal horde of cats come to the rescue. There are no cats in ASK ME and no overt jokes. Of course, it wouldn’t be me if there weren’t. So, why does this make me nervous? People write non-funny books all the time, right? Ask Aria Morse any...

Confessions of a voracious reader. Thursday, August 29, 2013. Something Like Normal (Trish Doller). Travis is home from Florida, on leave from active duty as a U.S. Marine in Afghanistan. He’s not only haunted by nightmares of his best friend’s death, but his brother has stolen his girlfriend and his parents are having marital trouble. What a vacation. But then he runs into Harper, a girl he’s known since middle school, and things start to look up. I read this book months ago, and I still love it this mu...

(YA)Y! books: February 2013
http://yay-books.blogspot.com/2013_02_01_archive.html
Confessions of a voracious reader. Wednesday, February 27, 2013. This science fiction/dystopia mix was a incredible fast read because the pace of the book just goes and goes and there is no stopping! I found it a little hard to picture the world as a series of intertwined strings that can be moved and rewoven, but really liked the concept overall. Other things I liked: the names in the book were all so creative! Sunday, February 24, 2013. The Off Season (Catherine Gilbert Murdock). DJ’s life is loo...
(YA)Y! books: Fangirl (Rainbow Rowell)
http://yay-books.blogspot.com/2013/09/fangirl-rainbow-rowell.html
Confessions of a voracious reader. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Things I loved about this book:. This book takes place freshman year of college. What's more life-changing than freshman year of college? It's wonderful to read a book set here with all the trails and tribulations without it being this-will-be-life-changing preachy. Fanfiction. I loved the interspersed bits of fandom, especially Cath's own fanfic. Rainbow Rowell knows how to write a good romance! Things I didn't love:. Its fun to find reco...

Confessions of a voracious reader. Monday, April 29, 2013. Front and Center (Catherine Gilbert Murdock). And The Off Season. I loved the first and second book so much, you know I started reading this one the minute The Off Season. Really make her grow as a person, and will make the reader love her all the more as a character. This entire trilogy is great for readers of all ages and comes highly recommended! Friday, April 26, 2013. Where She Went (Gayle Forman). I attempted to listen to this book like I d...

Confessions of a voracious reader. Thursday, May 30, 2013. If He Had Been With Me (Laura Nowlin). If he had been with me. Autumn and Finny have been inseparable since birth, but have grown apart during middle school and rarely speak in high school. After a terrible accident, Autumn reflects on her relationship with Finny, and how everything could have been different. While I loved the middle of this book, I hated the beginning and the end. Why ruin such a great love story? Labels: boy next door. The Rave...
(YA)Y! books: Never Fade (Alexandra Bracken)
http://yay-books.blogspot.com/2013/09/never-fade-alexandra-bracken.html
Confessions of a voracious reader. Tuesday, September 3, 2013. Never Fade (Alexandra Bracken). In this sequel to The Darkest Minds. This book was just as wonderful and heart-pounding as the first. Ruby is thrown into a position of leadership, based on her ability to control others’ minds. But she is still frightened of that power, and the corruption she has seen it create. I’m on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book! Also, follow Alex on Tumblr. Because she's the greatest. In the Best Worlds.

Friday, March 6, 2015. First, I'd like to thank Kara. For the opportunity to rant about this, which I am now reposting, mainly because it's that ridiculous. Now, I take public transportation to work because it only. Costs me $250 a year to park and be driven to work rather than $600 to maybe. Be able to park at work instead. It's bullshit, but I digress. There are many issues with this plan, the least of which being that it's inconvenient and it makes me motion sick on a daily basis. That's SO last year.

InTheBetween Writers' Blog. We fix Shonda's mistakes. 95 or How I Hate Writing Endings. September 5, 2013. This was a tough chapter for all of us. We’ve each had personal challenges this summer. Myself, I had a firm deadline looming – surgery on September 3 (it went well, I’m home again). But in the weeks ahead, it was a little hard to focus on writing. I needed to just write, and use it as a distraction. So Long, Farewell…For Now. August 29, 2013. Season 9.5 fans,. After reading the different vignettes,...
