In the corners of my heart. Monday, November 2, 2009. Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good, His mercy endures forever.". You can find that in more than one spot in the Bible. I tell ya, I love it when there are repeated passages in scripture. not to say that the verses that are just said once don't mean much, because they mean very much. But the ones that are said more than once. what does that mean? Someone more theologically knowledgeable can tell me/you but. So what are you thankful for?

In the corners of my heart. Wednesday, February 25, 2009. Last night our ladies at our church had our first book club meeting! Myself and another lady headed it up! We were both a little nervous, because of the book choice, The Shack. It has sparked up a lot of controversy, but we prayed a lot about it and knew that God was in it, so we knew it would be okay, and it was! I've talked about this book before, if you haven't read it, it's a great read. remembering all the while, it's just a book, fiction!

Months to years. and before you know it, time has flown before you without your seeming knowledge, let alone your "permission". That's how I felt last week when my oldest lost his first tooth and got his first pair of glasses, all in one week. I wondered where did the time go? When did I even say it was okay for him to grow up? Oh wait. it's part of life! And yet there are so many of us?

In the corners of my heart. Sunday, September 27, 2009. I can see myself going back and living "back in the day". To a simpler time. Where there wasn't TV and not even Facebook or blogging. Where you journaled on paper and wrote real letters and read books, and played outside, rather than video games. Or the fact that I don't have to cook over an open flame.
