Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Monday, September 17, 2007. I don't know why the first 3 letters are mba, in fact, I refreshed my page, in order to post properly, and my hands seemed to have inadvertently typed those three tiny letter. Quite ironic, because just this afternoon I was seriously considering ditching med school, after a particularly horrible day.summer came and went, and with it, I had forgotten about school's ability to make me come home, nearly in tears most of the time. No one...

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Monday, June 25, 2007. OMG it's just so stressful! I am really sorry, you're a really great person, but.fuck off. Ouinouin.I have heard those lines at least 10 times today. I haven't been feeling tiptop the past couple days, so today I just decided to sit on my couch and not move. It's after 12pm and I am in awe. If he saw me today he'd probably judge me and feel sorry for me too, but that's why I would never ever go on TV. What about "mr.personality" if yo...

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Saturday, July 10, 2010. I'd forgotten about this. Not even sure that this can be read by anyone right now considering how many restrictions I put on who can view/find this. Or Cairo.time will tell! It's raining and it's hot , I do wish my garden were more private! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Indy media, quebec. Ah Yes, Medical School. Growing in the goo. Confessions of a dumb white guy. Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Wednesday, November 14, 2007. La greve, again and again. So half of France is striking . Trains, universities, even the opera (so I heard on the news). I have to admit to being much less politically involved in the past years, school taking it up a notch and leaving me with little time to focus on the woes of the people. Anyway, if you want to know what is happening, I am not a good source. Talking about christmas, my sister was reading the history of the bible...

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Thursday, July 07, 2011. I love to travel. So far, this year, I've had the pleasure of visiting Kenya, Tanzania and Malawi, oh and of course living in Sudan, or should I say the newly to be 193rd country in the world: South Sudan. Exited about being a part of the birth of a new country, regardless of the obvious and less obvious hurdles this entails. It's pretty amazing to see the excitement. In the town and on the faces of the people I work with everyday.

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Tuesday, February 07, 2012. I remember boarding my very first Kenya airways flight, on my way to Nairobi, on my way to Africa, finally. I had been dreaming, anticipating and planning that moment for so long. I was ready. Or so I thought. I remember sleeping in the Kenyatta Jomo airport, waiting for my next flight, to Juba, on those uncomfortable plastic chairs, waiting and waiting and waiting. I remember the airport, where to go? Will I get my luggage? I rememb...

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Sunday, April 22, 2007. So I bought into the "vote utile", which means, vote practical, and voted for the candidate I thought would be able to make it to the 2nd round, and hopefully beat Sarko. So yeah, Sego made it, but she's about 5 point behind #1 or as I am going to call him, the fanatic. I don't understand how people can vote for someone who wants to exclude people from living in this country, when they helped build it. On the other hand, I don't agree wi...

Learned to stop worrying and love the bomb. Saturday, February 10, 2007. Yesterday was a gorgeous day-. I sat outside basking in the sun during a short break and . it. was. wonderful. I walked back home- which took me about an hour- but I was strolling- it was so nice. In hopes that I would catch some rays today I walked to the library- not my uni's but one which is about a 15 min walk away- which is good because today was rather windy. This one here, with the skull says "don't forget to love". As I was ...
