A good 2 day trek for starters… Triund is about a good 3-4 hour climb for a fairly fit person (stretches of the trek are treacherous and when coupled with snow and ice, the going can get a little tough). Triund is also the base camp en route to the Lahesh caves and then crossing the Indrahar pass. Our onward trek culminated at Triund, going any further would have required another 3 days. Planning is important… lesson learnt #2. Adventure – 1/5.

My MBA program starts with a 3 day orientation (the organizers claim the third day is a half day event – for some reason, the agenda does not seem to fit in that half a day! Not sure why we are starting a 2 year program on Friday, Saturday and Sunday – did the management just run out of other days in the week or are they sending us a message? If the batch of 2009 is to be believed, it is probably the latter!
