Running the Race: February 2012
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2012/03/february-2012.html
Saturday, March 3, 2012. I decided that I am going to write monthly reviews, so that I can make sure to keep up with tracking life's events. If something is really on my heart, then I will write an additional blog. The month of February was very busy and a whirlwind. I cannot believe we are in March. So, here is a recap of February 2012:. I found out I passed the GMAT test and finished application to MBA school at UCF. Ran my first half marathon ever: 9 minute pace. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Running the Race: Thankful
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2011/06/thankful.html
Thursday, June 16, 2011. This week has been a difficult week for many reasons, so instead of saying the difficulties, I need to say the good because of those situations, and I want to express what/who I'm thankful for. Some may sound random, but that is probably because I dealt with that random situation this past week. A toilet that flushes. Music: the talent God has blessed me with in my voice and trumpet; also the enjoyment of hearing other songs and singers. An email from my mom today. View my comple...

Running the Race: February 2010
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2010_02_01_archive.html
Thursday, February 18, 2010. On Monday, I had a rejuvenated aspect on life: I am learning that I have needed to strip some things out of my life and get back to the fact that Christ is my all in all. The past couple weeks were kind of blah for me. I was experiencing some great things, yet I started losing focus on life. I started to wonder what God was even doing in me, why He had placed me where I am, and I even started doubting that He has my best in mind at all times. And, I am motivated and excited t...

Running the Race: May 2011
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html
Tuesday, May 10, 2011. Karoaking: 1st Time in TN. Lately I have been intrigued by definitions and the real meaning of words. To give up, relinquish, yield, let go, abandon, give up my rights. I can't think of anyone who I'd rather surrender to than my Creator who has my best in mind and gives me so much grace, forgiveness, and has set me free.). To come into existence, to come to be, to undergo change or development. Grand, greatness, splendor of character, sovereignty. Humble, patient, docile. We watche...

Running the Race: April 2010
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2010_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 25, 2010. A Special Rose from A Special Someone. On Saturday, I posted on my facebook: Megan received a special rose from a special someone today.". Well, that is definitely true. A very special someone gave me a special rose. This week, I was working overnights, and I had a long shift from Friday at 7pm until Sunday at 7am. On Sat., I had begun working on situations/calls intensely at 6am without a break until 10am. Kathy came and put it on my table. And, my special someones, Fred and Kath...

Running the Race: December 2009
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2009_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, December 16, 2009. Randomness about Megan's life:. Last weekend, I went to Joel and Ann's house and spent the night on Friday, while they went shopping for their kids. It was a lot of fun, and Ann and I went to the farmers market and also to Kohls on Saturday. I did a lot of Christmas shopping and loved finding the great deals. My mom: she is so amazing. I love how she listens and it is great talking with her. It works wonders. I love cleaning and love how pure things look when I get done.

Running the Race: September 2009
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2009_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 15, 2009. Recountings of my life. So, I definitely don't know where to begin. Yesterday was my birthday. I felt very blessed with all the wishes and messages. I had many situations come up at work, which made for a very busy high stress day. I came home to a wonderful meal made by Fred and Kathy, and I opened presents. I had some great phone conversations and ate cake and icecream. I'm really craving community. People to hang out with, talk, and just hug and cuddle with! News from the ...

Running the Race: Processing
http://runningtherace14.blogspot.com/2013/12/processing.html
Sunday, December 15, 2013. I don't think I have ever processed anything as much as this. A sudden and unexplained death is hard to fathom and process, and I think the best way for me to process this with all of the questions and unexplained circumstances is to write a letter to you, Isaac Hunter. I have had so many emotions going on this past week. I don't know the details; I don't know your hurt; I don't know if you were dealing with mental illness; I don't know and can't explain your choices. Although ...
