Sambatan adalah sistem gotong royong di kampung dengan cara menggerakkan tenaga kerja secara masal dengan sukarela tanpa mengharapkan upah atas pekerjaaannya itu karena didasari oleh asas principle of reciprocity. Foto ini saya ambil saat melihat aktivitas tersebut di rumah Pak Hartono di daerah barat Ngawi tanggal 30 Juli 2011. Semoga tetap lestari karena sambatan juga salah satu warisan leluhur. Ide spontan ini muncul sebagai luapan emosional saya tentang beberapa pemberitaan hilangnya nyawa anak-anak oleh tangan-tangan berdosa. Motif apapun saya rasa tidak akan dibenarkan oleh otak rasional. matitengahembong.(baca: mati tengah jalan) bisa diartikan sebagai terhentinya perjalanan kehidupan yang benar-benar belum sampai pada tujuannya.Semoga kita semua diingatkan bahwa anak merupakan amanah-Nya dan perlu diingat bahwa amanah ada pertanggungjawabannya. Senja dan kelakuan temen-temenku. Ini adalah kelakuan dari temen-temen nongkrong. Yang paling kiri adalah Hendro (lafalnya kaya Kasino pas manggil Indro Warkop), Aan. Hendra dan Yayan. Lah terus saya mana? Lokasi di Ring Road utara depan Terminal Kertonegoro pas 3 minggu sebelum dioperasikan. Jadi masih sepiiii.
