I was born a Wisconsinite raised there and in Iowa and now I am living in Michigan. I have lived a happy life with many thrills, yet there have been some chills on my ride as well. My Mister Kennedy and I were married in 1997. Life for us is simple, fun, easy and retired. We enjoy traveling here and there, spending time with one another and our families. I enjoy a great book, a glass of wine, travel, varying landscapes, the color green, flowers, gardening and creating pleasant outdoor and indoor spaces.

Thursday, July 30, 2015. Summer Picnic . . . We were invited to a summer picnic a few nights ago. The very hot and humid weather that has been. Hanging around the past few days. Certainly didn't faze our having a grand time. It was a wonderful evening. This greeting was visible by the door. We had been with this group of people at various holiday gatherings. But this was the first time we had been in the Walters home. Five minutes after I was there I felt honored to be invited to. Fresh fruit, veggies.

Friday, August 14, 2015. JUST A LITTLE TWEAKING. The bushes (Red Twig Dogwoods) on either side of the tree. Are outgrowing their space and have to be continually pruned so they don't cover the window. SOthey are going to a new home. I think they have moved to one of the retention ponds. On the West Side. They are gone now and the two shrubs on the right. Were placed in to their holes. A Crape Myrtle and a Flowering Almond. I pulled the daises out as well. Looks like there is work to be done.
