The other day Mknz and I went to an early meditation class in the village for quiet time before the work day. Then we decided breakfast was a good idea! When is breakfast NOT a good idea? Flower District Tromp with Mel! Asked me if I'd like to accompany her to the flower district in Chelsea. Quality time with Melina and time to explore? It was a win - win situation. Naturally I said yes! I loved this shop - there was an entire section of multi-colored sweet pea flowers! What Inspires Me Today? When we bo...

Although South Williamsburg is sometimes lumped in with its northern neighbor, it’s really a separate area with its own vibe. Home to a diverse community of Hispanics, Hasidim and edgier hipsters, South Williamsburg is less crowded and less gentrified than North Williamsburg and attracts fewer tourists. While there arent a ton of things to do here yet, the area feels authentically New York and is worth exploring. Me and Mr. Pants: October 2012
http://meandmrpants.blogspot.com/2012_10_01_archive.html
Me and Mr. Pants. Sunday, October 28, 2012. I love New York. Hot dog carts, celebrities slinking in red-lit Chelsea bars, falafel stands, leafy parks with bubbling fountains. Washington Square Park, filled with people at 10pm where two young women handed out pizza to those that appeared to be homeless. Brooklyn Bridge and skyline from Brooklyn. We were there to see Mr. Pant's mom, and attend a wedding held across the water from the NYC skyline in Brooklyn. View from the Highline. Mural along the Highline.
