Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Thursday, August 22, 2013. Race Report Ironman Mont-Tremblant August 18, 2013. Here I am on the other side of Ironman again. What an amazing journey it has been this year and what an incredible race experience this was. It felt so good to get in! I swam out a ways and then came back and then did it again because it felt so good. The water was perfect and the swim calmed me down. I stood in the water and waited for the start. I didn't know what I was going to do to fix the...

Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon: Allan Beach Triathlon
http://sarah-adventuresintriathlon.blogspot.com/2015/06/allan-beach-triathlon.html
Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Sunday, June 21, 2015. Today, my friend Marilyn and I did the Allan Beach Triathlon as a team. I've been swimming a fair bit with my triathlete friends and Marilyn suggested that we do this race together so that I could stay involved in the sport despite my crappy hips. She's been very encouraging and supportive. We said, "We're injured Ironmen, not sweet old ladies! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). My Hips Dont Lie. View my complete profile. DION MAKES A CHANGE.

Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon: May 2013
http://sarah-adventuresintriathlon.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Monday, May 27, 2013. That's me, fourth from the right.). On the May long weekend, a group of 17 of us from my triathlon club went to Drumheller for a weekend of cycling. This is a weekend I look forward to because it's one of the first opportunities we have to do some real riding outside, it's such a boost to my training, and it's a wonderful time with great people. Even when I was soaking wet and freezing on the second day, I still felt strangely happy to be on my bike&...

http://sarah-adventuresintriathlon.blogspot.com/2014_03_01_archive.html
Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Sunday, March 2, 2014. Triathletes know all about transition. It's that time in the race when you make a shift to the next phase and you try to do it in the best way possible. If you do it well, you move on to the next step with the best chance of success. I know all about transition. I'm right in the middle of it, trying to make the rest of the race great. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. A moment, something restless. Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon: A New Year
http://sarah-adventuresintriathlon.blogspot.com/2014/08/a-new-year.html
Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Saturday, August 30, 2014. I always feel like September is New Year's, probably from being in school for so long and now working at a university. So, I'm taking stock at the end of the year, the end of what would normally be race season, and thinking about the year to come. My life is good and happy. I just get bummed sometimes. But I will press on and hope for the best and do what I need to do to get there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

http://sarah-adventuresintriathlon.blogspot.com/2014/05/its-been-while-since-ive-posted.html
Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Friday, May 30, 2014. It's been a while since I've posted. I've been on my own for a few months now and I've been doing my best to move forward in some way every day. Things are falling into place for my new life and I look to the future with anticipation. I'm still going to go to Coeur d'Alene, too, to watch my brother do his first Ironman and to cheer on some friends who are also doing the race. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Sarah's Adventures in Triathlon. Tuesday, June 11, 2013. This past week I was in Ohio for work. I flew to Columbus and drove to the small town of Cedarville to attend an academic conference for two days. Ohio is very pretty and green and mostly flat! I was on a rented Trek road bike for the ride (Annie made all the arrangements for the bike! The post-race food was pretzels, twizzlers, tootsie rolls, mini chocolate bars, chocolate chip cookes, and bubble gum. Best ever! After the race, we spent the aftern...
