Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail. Home of Suzi Parron, author with Donna Sue Groves of 'Barn Quilts and the American Quilt Trail Movement.'. Sunday, May 4, 2014. Glen had teased me for several months about the fact that I had booked a couple of stops in Minnesota in April. I just knew it would be fine.Well . . . it was. Sort of. That was the scene in Rogers, MN where we stopped off to try to get a repair done on the bus. Eight or so inches of snow- more than I have ever seen! A week or so later, ...

This is going to be a L- O- N- G post because there is so much to show and tell! Leaving Wisconsin, we had a mighty long drive in front of us, as I had to be in Wyoming in less than a week. Olde Vintage Stitches: Inspired by 1840's Antique Doll Quilt
http://oldevintagestitches.blogspot.com/2011/10/inspired-by-1840s-antique-doll-quilt.html
Thursday, October 13, 2011. Inspired by 1840's Antique Doll Quilt. I saw a really old doll quilt on ebay recently that I tried to replicate. You can find the quilt at GB-Best Antique Quilts. This is my version. I really like how the center turned out. The quilt needed a little more, so I stitched on some little pumpkin seeds in the corner blocks. I have had that blue fabric for ages, since way back in the 90's when they started making reproductions. October 13, 2011 at 3:33 PM. Love the corners, too!
