Fall Baking – Pumpkin Bread | I Shot The Chef
https://www.ishotthechef.com/bakery/fall-baking-pumpkin-bread
I Shot the Chef. Fall Baking – Pumpkin Bread. I’ve made many pumpkin bread recipes over the years and this is by far my favorite. There is a very strange addition of water at the end of mixing… but it works for some reason. You could probably use orange juice or another juice, but I just use the water and it’s tasty. Adapted from Bobby Flay’s recipe on Epicurious. 4 tbsp unsalted butter, softened, plus more for the pan. 1 3/4 c all-purpose flour. 1/2 tsp fine salt. 1 tsp baking soda. 1/2 tsp baking powder.

I Shot the Chef. Stuffed is what you’ll be when you finish eating wild rice stuffed acorn squash. I promise, you won’t even miss the meat. :). We’ve actually been home lately and I’m striving to cook much more often. I’m actually cooking 5-6 nights a week and most lunches. Well, sometimes we just have to get out of the house or we’ll have an incident similar to The Shining. That’s one of the perils of owning a business. That hubby of mine… he’s a photographic genius! Wild Rice Stuffed Acorn Squash Recipe.
Spinach & Feta Quinoa | I Shot The Chef
https://www.ishotthechef.com/vegetarian-2/spinach-and-feta-quinoa
I Shot the Chef. Spinach & Feta Quinoa. I also had a few springs of fresh herbs left over and thought, what the heck and threw them in too. The results… delish and so quick! Spinach and Feta Quinoa Recipe. 3 tsp olive oil. 1/2 onion, diced. 1/2 red pepper, diced. 1 poblano pepper, small diced. 1 clove garlic, minced. 2 big handfuls of baby spinach. 1 tbsp basil, chopped. 1 tbsp dill, chopped. 1/4 c feta, cut in small cubes. 4 Add the final tsp of olive oil, basil, dill, feta and lemon to the bowl and gen...

Twenty Something & Cooking: Peeping Pear & Passionfruit Pudding
http://twentysomethingandcooking.blogspot.com/2008/08/peeping-pear-passionfruit-pudding.html
Wednesday, August 27, 2008. Peeping Pear and Passionfruit Pudding. There's something wrong with Happee Monkee. I've adapted this recipe from last week's copy of Epicure. I've added passionfruit for a few reasons: 1) I had it in the refrigerator 2) I thought the citrus acidity could help with chemically balancing the bi-carb soda. (I'm not sure if it worked, but it looks OK). Peeping Pear Passionfruit Pudding. 6 small ripe pears. 100g palm sugar or brown sugar. 2 cinnamon sticks or 2 tbsp ground cinnamon.

Twenty Something & Cooking: Bubur Nasi Hitam
http://twentysomethingandcooking.blogspot.com/2008/08/bubur-nasi-hitam.html
Sunday, August 31, 2008. There are some of the reasons why I don't like keeping in touch with the past and when the past comes back to visit, I make attempts to avoid it like a bowl of bitter melon juice. However, a good book once read that you cannot bury the past. It only claws its way back to you. And true to its words, even though I've moved 6360 kilometers away from home, many of my former schoolmates have made, miraculously, the same decision. The result? 1¾ cup black glutinous rice. 5 cups of water.

Mom, wife, sister, daughter, friend. Wednesday, August 6, 2008. How NOT to Write a Cover Letter. This is what I have been doing for the past 2 weeks. Reading dumb people's lame attempts to get a job. hmmmm. Wonder why they are unemployed. To Whom It May Concern:. I would like to submit my résumé. For consideration for the Lead Customer Service position that you have available. As you will see, I have an extensive background in customer service. Realistically no mater. Twenty Something & Cooking: To Dip or Not To Dip?
http://twentysomethingandcooking.blogspot.com/2008/09/to-dip-or-not-to-dip.html
Wednesday, September 17, 2008. To Dip or Not To Dip? Do you like dipping your food into drinks? I like dipping Hup Seng cream crackers. Into a cup of hot Milo or coffee. Oh, and of course dunking oreos into a glass of milk too! However, I find it strange for someone to dip his french fries into coke! Why would someone do that? Is it strange or it's just me? It's also weird to see someone "drink" his mashed potatoes through a straw! Hahaha. I guess people have funny habits when it comes to eating too?

I Shot The Messenger. Tuesday, February 21, 2012. Southern Hospitality Isn't Dead. Okay, so it's been a while since I posted a blog. That is due to a belief that I hold to be true: No one cares what anyone else has to say. Am I wrong? Maybe But I am still operating under that mentality. So why bother typing something no one will odds are ever read? I don't know, what's with all the questions. Get off muh' back. Has that ever worked? I'd think not.
