Fredag, juli 07, 2006. Torsdag, den 6 juli: Gods ompakkes og tørres. Twin Otteren har haft travlt med at flyve til Longyear-byen på Svalbard for at hente folk til øvrige aktiviteter under Forskning i Nord. Imens pakkede de resterende tre godset om og tørrede det. Godset bliver sat på paller klar til afhentning af C-130 til Danmark sidst i Juli måned. Her kommer iskernerne også med. Indtil da står fryseren i Station Nord og holder dem kolde. Tidlig morgen gik gruppen igang med at bygge pallerne om. Godset, der blev sat i Thule i marts blev fundet, dog bag en port, der var gået i baglås. Saturday, June 17, 2006. Friday 16th June.: Tangled cable. To our great surprise we woke up to yet another sunny "day" with good cold temperatures. This was the day we would beat the record and drill and process even more than 30 m! It all went fine until after lunch when the cable on the winch became completely tangled up! Tha cable spooling on our winch is now so bad that we have decided to cut away 250 m off the length. Steff and Sverir did so, and after dinner we started to drill again. While the winch was being repaired Lars, Bo and Namcy went 1.3 km North of camp to perform a 2.8 m pit study. they took 5 cm profiles for chemistry and sotopes. Dinner was paella prepared by Dorthe. They are expected in Copenhagen Sunday evening. There was just time to re-erect our kitchen weatherport from Flade Isblink at Station Nord. We had small sparrows and one northern fulmar flying around our camp. Dětský folklorní soubor ISKERKA BRNO. Má ve svém názvu ve valašském nářečí sedmikrásku. V Brně působí od roku 1978. Byl původně zřízen jako dětské oddělení folklorního souboru TANEČNICA.
