Got the rain tally through from Marsali this evening for July at Mulindry which is up behind Bridgend, the figure was 5.6". back in 2010 it was 6.28 inches, say no more! Mark from the Scottish Borders had a count of around 500 Gannets fishing off Frenchman's Rocks at Portnahavan, He also had a steady passage of Manx Shearwaters flying South. If the weather was not very good yesterday, well today it has not been that great either, with the wind topping just over 63mph just after 4pm. Mind you when we had "our" top speed of 75mph back in January, spare a thought for the team players out on St Kilda, their "machine" topped 188mph before it packed in. say no more!
