Taking life one day at a time. It is what it is, people. Rest In Peace, my sistah warrior. July 27, 2014. My friend Kathy died on Monday, two days after I last saw her. She lost her brave battle with multliple myeloma, a blood cancer that she wasn’t supposed to get in the first place. She was neither African-American nor over 50 years of age; she was a white woman age just 41 when diagnosed. But get it she did. And it won the fight for her life. Rest in peace, my sistah warrior.
