Stephen and Lonnie's Blog. Silence is Golden and Duct Tape is Silver. We went to Hawaii for Thanksgiving! It was so wonderful and much needed. We are going back in January to look for jobs and a place to live. We have officially decided to move to Hawaii. We have been taking about it for some time now and finally came to a decision. Thursday, August 24, 2006. A Light at the end of the tunnel. Here is a picture of our street all torn up. It isn't nearly as big of a mess as I had imagined it would be. It's just like living on a dirt road and it will sure be nice when it is finished in October. As you can see our decks are really coming along. They look beautiful! We absolutely love living up here there is always sometihing to do. We have just signed up to join the volunteer mountain patrol with our jeep. It already feels so much easier than it did last year. I hope, hope, hope that my kids don't get crazy. I remember then being good in the first few weeks and then showing their true colors, so I hope that things are good when my kids finally get comfortable enough to be themselves.
