After finishing up our second week of volume training with a three hour road bike in the morning, a busy afternoon of organizing details for my fundraiser happening on September 27th at 2 pm at the Power House (more details soon! July 4, 2015. Today, SMS T2 participated in one of America’s best traditions: The Fourth of July Parade. This one wasn’t just any parade, though, it was the Town of Londonderry Fourth of July Parade, which meant a fantastic combination of clowns, tractors, Nordic song troops, enthusiastic towns people and, of course, a few fit, fashionable Americans striding down the street on cross country skis. What a bunch of clowns. Wait Those ones are real clowns. Simi making friends at the beginning of the road.

July 11, 2015. By my reckoning, there’s a good chance I’ve skied over 20,000 miles in my life. Yet, that feeling of pushing down my binding tabs, stepping onto my gliding ski, and picking up momentum during those first few seconds of every ski has and will never lose its magic. It's a knit thing. Knitting is my favorite thing. Monday, August 26, 2013. Here are the other two sweaters I made from the Yankee Knitter pattern. This first one is 3-6 months size and I made it in Berrocco Comfort Yarn. I loved working with this yarn and really like the way it looks when it's knit.
