IT'S GHANA BE GOOD! Adventures in West Africa. Sunday, January 29, 2012. From High End.to Low Budget. My theme for the last few days has been unusual buildings. The XGI Tower was built by a Nigerian company for an investment Group. It stands out. Concave sides, reflective windows, a rotating restaurant on top make it a landmark of innovative techniques in a country that is still trying to make driving rules uniform. Still looking at the same university, but this stairway is attached to the student housing.

On Dec 1st, our ward (Kwabenya) had their own "Helping Hands" service project: cleaning the local community hospital. We had a huge turnout with many helping hands. Rocky and I went to the House of Blues in Ahaheim to see one of my favorite bands. Perform- the Street Dogs! By that time I was so tired and so sore from standing. There is a commons area, and a bar downstairs, plus free internet access! It s SOOO nice to eat real food again. I can t even tell you how much I missed the food back home while I was in Africa. Basically, this is a wonderful place to be for Christmas! All of the people here are really awesome. I took some nice pictures from the top of it!
