Library 2.0 Endeavors: Final Countdown
http://elizabeththebibliophile.blogspot.com/2008/05/final-countdown.html
Library 2.0 Endeavors. Wednesday, May 14, 2008. Dabbling with different search engines was interesting, but reconfirmed my preference for Google. I'm starting to appreciate podcasts more and will continue to listen to the ones I found. I really like the "incentives" - Thanks! All in all, this was am invigorating program and I'm kind of sad that it's ending! But, now I have these newly learned tools at my fingertips, so I can use them at my leisure! Posted by Elizabeth Wyatt. The Salt Lake City Library.

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Wednesday, May 7, 2008. This week's assignment was to learn about podcasts. At first I had trouble differentiating between podcasts and online videos such as those offered on YouTube, but after some exploration I think I'm beginning to understand the difference. I explored both "Podcastalley" and "Search Yahoo! Just for kicks I searched for the same podcast on Search Yahoo! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

CLICK HERE FOR THOUSANDS OF FREE BLOGGER TEMPLATES. Saturday, May 10, 2008. Is this where it all ends? Hi there, I'd like to begin my final(? Post by thanking all of you who have taken the time to check out my blog. Your comments and feedback have been appreciated! Lots of great book suggestions! I think the library could really benefit from adding podcasts/online video to their website. Imagine how cool it would be if we could film our storytimes and book babies and then post them online! Monday, October 14, 2013. A really long post about a trip to Colorado, priesthood blessings, a temple sealing, an appendix, and swimming with alligators. We've been hanging on to life's roller coaster with white knuckles these past several weeks. It was past 1:00 am for our eastern time zone orientation. We were exhausted. The next morning, my husband went for a 4 mile run - up the ski mountain 2 miles, then back down 2 miles, and then went for a swim. We had a fantastic breakfast together at one of ...

Sunday, February 2, 2014. Roller Coasters and the power of fasting and prayer. This week has been a doozy. Monday, my husband spoke with his HR dept and was told him that after his medical leave expires (in a few weeks), company policy is to terminate the job if the individual isn't ready to return. (They had previously told him something different.). He has been working part time from home since the beginning of January.). He called me at 10:30 and asked me to pick him up. We are grateful for his compan...

Thursday, December 19, 2013. Yesterday, on our way home from another Dr. appt. my husband and I realized that Christmas is a week away. Now, if you live in any other state than Florida, please try to take this with a grain of salt. But, as a non-Florida native, Christmas time is a very difficult time of year for me to be motivated. Like, how am I supposed to realize it is Christmas when it is 85* outside, and I'm thinking about going to the beach as I plan my day? Woke up with a mission to take chicken n...

Monday, February 2, 2015. A long post about a lot of things from our lives these past two weeks. Good Monday Morning,. This weekend we began a new adventure.we are potty training the kitties. Yes You heard me right. Yes, I am questioning my sanity. We've closed off the toilet in the girl's bathroom, and this weekend, my bedroom and bathroom were cleaned so that they now sparkle - since anyone who comes to our house gets to use the master bath if they need to use the facilities. Last week, I went to the d...

Monday, June 23, 2014. Mormon Woman - Yes I am. While I haven't blogged very often specifically about political or social issues, I wanted to state my thoughts for those of my readers who know I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon). I know there's been a lot in the news about women wanting to be ordained to the priesthood, and I wanted to share my thoughts on the role of women within the Mormon church. I have enough to do, and my house is still messy! Through His atoneme...

Wednesday, May 27, 2015. We've been dealt some interesting endings in the past few weeks. Read on. Today is the last day of school! I've never been as excited as this year. Our oldest daughter has been such a trooper. She's been getting up at 4:40am to get ready for school.well, her alarm goes off then. She has learned the fine art of napping - which she never before appreciated (except when she was 0-5). Sleep deprivation at it's finest. Anyways, she made it through the year! They like their schools, al...
