Thursday, July 23, 2009. Young Life Teacher Camp. I recently got back from a Young Life camp in Iringa, Tanzania. (Iringa is in the mountains and A LOT colder than Dar! We hosted the camp for teachers from various village schools, and had an absolute blast! God is so good- we didn’t have any car trouble going or coming back, which is a miracle in itself! And several other teachers showed interest in becoming Young Life leaders and bringing Young Life to their village schools. Wednesday, July 15, 2009.

Thursday, May 21, 2009. Contrary to popular belief, we don’t have zebras and giraffes walking around the middle of our city- even though this is Africa. But we do have this sketchy zoo down the street from our house. Basically, this woman caught some animals, put them in cages, and calls it a “zoo”. Apparently a lion escaped a few days ago! Wednesday, November 11, 2009. The Meade family gathered again for my Aunt Mary's wedding this past weekend. Some of the Iowa folks came down for the wedding, and we had a great time together. We ate, ate, and then ate some more! Why does it seem like that's all we ever do? I enjoyed getting some wedding planning tips from my cousin, Erin, who is also engaged.
