Tuesday, August 25, 2009. The Hubble Ultra Deep Field in 3D. Recently, an animation of a fly through of the Hubble Ultra Deep Field in 3D. Has been posted on YouTube. The animation was computed using the measured redshifts of all 10,000 galaxies in the Hubble Ultra Deep Field image and has accompanying narration and background musical score. That animation and many others have been produced by Dr. Michael R. Gallis [Penn State Schuylkill] and the. Animations for Physics and Astronomy Project.
