Yesterday, Meryl and I just "kvelled" and were "fer klempt" all day. 1st, Zoe called to wish us a happy Mother's Day and ask what we were doing. Then, when we got to the restaurant, she had called ahead to pay for our brunch. Oy! Later, 'Div showed up unexpectedly, so we got a chance to visit with her. Said writing is done with paper and pen (or, in the electronic age - fingers and keyboard.) So, to write, I have to write. Dillie always says that to do something, you have to do it. Miscellaneous thoughts, musings and so forth. My electronic journal. Saturday, August 29, 2009. I just fed my dog his daily dinner; it is always the highlight of his day. I was thinking that we should say someone has the patience of a dog, rather than a saint because as much as my dog loves his food, he always (eventually) waits very patiently though mournfully for me to do his will. 13KB down the line. Is a CSS-in-JS library. It provides a sizable subset of SASS in a tiny package. Mixins, nested rules, composablity are available out of the box. Miscellaneous thoughts, musings and so forth. My electronic journal. Thursday, November 26, 2009. Last year (Jan, 2008) I was diagnosed with inoperable, incurable stage 4 lung cancer. It had already metatastasized to my bones. Obviously, I was pretty depressed at first, but surprisingly, it didn't last. Throughout my life, my two biggest fears had been being diagnosed with cancer and dying. Well, . . . Am I indulging myself? So, I didn't pace well enough this week and had to stay home from work today....
