We are looking to get one done and have had a couple of quotes, but have also had some conflicting advice and information from the companies involved. WANTED: odd jobber with ladder! Can anybody recommend an odd-job person who'd be willing to go up a long ladder. Preferably in East Oxford? We've got a couple of (hopefully fairly simple) things that need doing: a falling-off TV aerial needs removing; and the outside of an air vent needs sticking back on. All the odd job people we've asked have said they don't do heights. Cheap would be good, but reliable (turns up on time, communicates usefully, etc) is more important! Post a new comment.

Tow-path by twilight. Blackbirds singing in the gloaming. A group of lovely people who I sing with are doing carols in the craft market opposite Trinity College in Cambridge on Saturday lunchtime, probably 11:30-13:00-ish. This year we are very short on people, particularly sopranos and altos. Anyone feel like coming along and helping out? It would be mostly pretty standard green book stuff. It is for charidee and all, too. Geography sucks. :(.
