Saturday, September 29, 2012. A Chockablock Fun-Filled Day! We signed Brogan up for soccer starting at the beginning of September, and he has been loving it! He plays ever Saturday morning at 9am. They do 30 minutes of practice and then a 30 minute game. His ball handling skills during practice have definitely improved already, although that doesn’t necessarily carry over into actual game time :) Isn’t he the cutest little soccer star? Wednesday, August 15, 2012. Almost exactly 4 years ago to the minute, a healthy, beautiful, 9lb 3oz baby boy was born, and his perfection blew me away! He has been waiting for this day for. Sunday, April 22, 2012. Last Tuesday morning, our friend Bryan called me and said that since he was running in the Blue Ridge Marathon. On Saturday, would it be okay if he did it in a shirt and tie to raise money for Avery? How awesome is that? Being totally disabled and yet ineligible for (denied) disability, apparently because my skin is white, my only chance to avoid becoming penniless is to write and sell books. I do write and I write well, but I’ve never had enough good luck to sell books. My latest, “Get Real, Dr. Phil,” has sold 4 copies in 3 months.
