This book is a popular classic from when my mom and dad were little! It also was made into an adventurous and crazy movie. I loved this book, and so did my class when my teacher gave us all a copy. It had good descripton and you could really tell. So i hope you like this book. Labels: James and the Giant Peach. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Websites You Can Visit.

Book Town: DYING TO MEET YOU By Kate Klise
http://book-town.blogspot.com/2011/10/dying-to-meet-you-by-kate-klise.html
Sunday, October 16, 2011. DYING TO MEET YOU By Kate Klise. This book might just be letters and newspapers, but it is one of the most crazy and scary stories combined. The characters are the ghost Olive, C. Spence, Seymour Hope and Iggy. Can a ghost and a scary writer take care of a little orphan and still write? The expression and description was awesome. The pictures are also pretty awesome. And don't forget- it was a 2011 Nutmeg Award nominee! Labels: Dying to Meet You. November 12, 2011 at 8:05 AM.

Book Town: March 2013

Saturday, March 30, 2013. WONDER by R.J. Palacio. I love this book. It is heartwarming and teaches you that it is great to choose kindness (kind of the book's jingle). This book is about a 5th grade boy with a damaged face who starts school after being home schooled for many years. It is hilarious and a great read. In fact, the town of Fairfield, CT has a "One Book, One Town" program, where they pick a great book for the year- and this is their choice! Labels: R.J. Palacio. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Friday, April 13, 2012. A SERIES OF UNFORTUNATE EVENTS by Lemony Snicket. My next book to review is the whole series of A Series of Unfortunate Events. This is an awesome series about orphans who experience lots of unfortunate events, mostly because of a guy named Count Olaf. The suspense and planning in this 13-book series is awesome, and will keep you reading. In fact, the first three books are out in a movie. The narrator is awesome and so is the series. http://book-town.blogspot.com/2012/08/moon-over-manifest-by-clare-vanderpool.html
Thursday, August 23, 2012. MOON OVER MANIFEST By Clare Vanderpool. This was a great book. It felt like you were going back in time, while kinda having a cool adventure with this little girl. She goes into a town that her father grew up in, to learn more about him. And learns more than she expected to. This twisting tale includes friendship, adventure and sadness. I'm not the only one who thinks this is a great book, as it was a Nutmeg Award winner! March 30, 2013 at 9:33 AM. Websites You Can Visit. The R...

Monday, April 1, 2013. THE WITCHES by Rohald Dahl. Roald Dahl, as we all know, is a wonderful book writer. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was, in fact, written by him. This suspenseful (in a kid way) book is funny, gross and adventurous. I loved it and thought it was so cool, with funny maps and diagrams added in. This is such a fun, easy, simple book. I love it and think you should read it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Please check out my little brother's movie blog! Websites You Can Visit. Dying to M...
