Tuesday, January 10, 2017. Christian started something at dinner the other night. And it was GREAT! Jackson laughed so hard. Jackson thought this was the best! He tried to get his smile to look like daddy's. Emma enjoyed sucking on an orange piece, too. I also gave Emma a tater tot. She tried it, but in the end it was in pieces in the chair. Friday, December 30, 2016. And the 3rd tooth snuck up on us. I noticed it after it was already through the gums quite a ways. I wasn't expecting her to get an upper lateral incisor next, but it certainly explains the waking up from naps early and in the middle of the night lately. Also, the grumpiness. This is literally the best picture she would let me take. PS I'll try and get to my Christmas post later today or tomorrow. Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Christmas Eve was so much fun! Sunday, January 8, 2017. Last week we sat in on nursery because Jackson was having a hard time without me, and there was only one nursery leader so I stayed to help her as needed. There were only 3 kids (including my own) so it was a really easy group. Emma and I got some selfie time while the other kids played. Emma loved to watch them play. I'm so lucky to have cute kids! Sunday, January 8, 2017. Mistletoes and Shrinky Dinks. I gave this Christmas decoration to my parents (and Christian's parents got one too) in 2014 when Jackson was just a few months old. I decided to take a comparison picture. Jackson sure has grown in every way since then. This year I made shrinky dinks. It was also an excuse to make beignets, which was part of my 26 Things goal list. Christian helped me fry them since I over fried my first batch. Monday, November 28, 2016. Little Red Car and a Candy Cane. Jackson has been obsessed with Christian's new RC Ferrari. Every morning since he has woken up and asked to see the "little red car" immediately. He throws fits when it gets put away. It was worth the $35. And Emma had her first taste of a candy cane on Saturday. Here was Jackson's first taste of candy cane when he was just a little younger than Emma is now.
