The DC. Itinerary. Monday, April 20, 2009. Well my time in D.C. is quickly drawing to a close. I still have a few weeks left and I am making the most of it. For example I am planning several trips in my last weeks. My first one was last weekend when a fellow intern and I went to Kluge Winery. The wine "cave" at Kluge Winery. Me and the grape vines. As for the week, it was relatively quiet. We enjoyed some happier hour specials at The Front Page. It has definitely caught my interest. My To Do List.

The program is hosted in May and is called Shortcut to Europe. We started at the Embassy of the Slovak Republic. Where we got to listen to some cultural music and try Slovakian wine, which was excellent. We next went on to the Austrian Embassy. We then took the shuttle to the Embassy of the Czech Republic. If you’re here in the spring, definitely go to the National Archives. Over President's Day weekend. They display the Emancipation Proclamation for 5 days, and 5 days only. I’ve also spent a lot of time at the National Museum of American History. I also found an Albert Einstein Memorial. The Jefferson Memorial at dusk.
