Musings From My Front Porch: Need to Blog More
http://musingsfrommyfrontporch.blogspot.com/2010/01/need-to-blog-more.html
Musings From My Front Porch. Sunday, January 10, 2010. Need to Blog More. I wish that I had a job that allowed me to spend an hour each morning on the web. I'd like to think I'd spend that time updating my blog and checking in on other's blogs. I just don't ever have the time to do this daily or even weekly like I'd like. Maybe when the baby is born and I'm sitting around the house some I'll find time to make it a habit. So, until I become a better blogger, I will continue to just do this occassionally.

Musings From My Front Porch: The Lighthouse and the Parent
http://musingsfrommyfrontporch.blogspot.com/2011/08/lighthouse-and-parent.html
Musings From My Front Porch. Friday, August 5, 2011. The Lighthouse and the Parent. In the same way as a parent, I am a lighthouse.not to ships, but to my children. I too must be vigilant. I too must be watchful. I too must be looking ahead for harm. The world offers dangers more treacherous than any coastline. Satan doesn't always do his work with arrogance that spews, "In your face! Thankfully if you are Christ's, it doesn't end there. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Sarah Lilly: May 2009

It's You I live for everyday. Saturday, May 9, 2009. Sorry it's been so long since my last post! I guess I'm better at keeping up with Facebook than this thing. I really wanted to come on here to share a link I found. It's for modest yet VERY cute swimwear. Here it is. I'm glad there is a company who notices that not ALL women want to flaunt what their momma gave 'em every time they wear a swimsuit. I know many husbands who would love their wives to keep it secret. Here are couple of my favorites.

Sarah Lilly: January 2009
http://lillysarah.blogspot.com/2009_01_01_archive.html
It's You I live for everyday. Wednesday, January 28, 2009. No school yesterday or today. It's kind of like having a weekend in the middle of the week. Why can't this be a permanent situation? Thursday, January 15, 2009. My "Winter Around the World" program was WONDERFUL! Tomorrow is a half-day for me, which means no teaching. However, I have lunch duty from 10:15-noon! Much longer than I'm used to, but at least I'll get to spend time with the kids. Grades need to go in tomorrow, as well. In the a...

Sarah Lilly: September 2010
http://lillysarah.blogspot.com/2010_09_01_archive.html
It's You I live for everyday. Sunday, September 26, 2010. In Colorado, it's a true season. The trees are turning, nights are in the 40's.it's so nice! I got a sweet guitar for my birthday in September. I've been taking lessons and have been playing for my students. So far, I'm comfortable with A, D, E, f# (barre chord = hard! As a specialist, my position is one that, sadly, is easily cast aside. This song, The River by Meredith Andrews, is our prayer for the people of Fort Collins. But He invites us.

Musings From My Front Porch. Sunday, March 15, 2009. In one of her emails just two weeks ago, we had been discussing why we taught, she expressed that she wanted to leave this world a better place. She wanted to make a difference. And that is what she did. Friday, March 6, 2009. With what or whom are you surrounding yourself.dream makers or dream takers? My kids got it.quickly.and I'm already using it to motivate and instill within them to be all they were created to be. Dream Maker or Dream Taker? I fin...

Musings From My Front Porch: Let the Children Come
http://musingsfrommyfrontporch.blogspot.com/2011/09/let-children-come.html
Musings From My Front Porch. Friday, September 30, 2011. Let the Children Come. A little girl, age 8, and a boy, age 11, lost their mother. Pain. Sadness. Unbearable. Beth, the mom, battled pancreatic cancer for 11 months before it took her life. Cancer. Thief. Killer. A disease that ravages the body by both nature and cure. Not easy. Not right. Not fair. There's just not much good to say about it.or is there? See, that's the amazing thing! Absolutely. But is there good? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
