Ancient Roman cities and bathing! We caught the interstate buses to Pammukale, ahh the luxury of a Turkish bus! They are cheap, and fancy like a nice coach. Beautiful Bodrum, Ancient Halicarnassus. Next day was a long bus ride, to the ancient city of Halicarnassus, better known today as Bodrum the party town. We rented an apartment here with a beautiful balcony that looked over the hills to the whitewashed city. We spent many an hour lying on sun beds drowsily watching the sea. Ah yes just landed in Bucharest, Romania. We had just had a relaxing time in Santorini and had decided to visit the ancestral home of Dracula - and spend one month driving around the countryside. Why Romania?
