Saturday, April 7, 2012. Recently Jake and I have been into making cupcakes. I love looking up new recipes online and trying them out. The boys love taste testing them for me! Jake made these green ones. They are Mt. Dew cupcakes. There is dew in the batter and in the frosting. They are very citrusy. I thought they were very delicious but Jake did not like them. Vanilla cupcakes with raspberry frosting. Ill be your taste-tester! And holy smokes.that frosting looks P.R.O.fessional! What are you using?

Tuesday, February 14, 2012. Jake and celebrated Valentines Day last week on our days off, knowing Jake would not be around today. He is a volunteer for the "Chill Program." He takes 6 boys from the group homes to Brighton and teaches them how to snowboard. He is a great teacher and seems to enjoy going. Links to this post. Monday, February 13, 2012. Friday, July 22, 2011. I have wanted to get a nice camera for a LONG time. I told Jake's parents, my parents, and Jake that this is what I wanted to get for graduation. So they all gave me money and I have been shopping around for one. I found this one on Costco.com and it was delivered 2 days later. I am in LOVE! I now want to take some photography classes. All the pictures I have taken are of us with our foster boys, which can't be published, but soon I will post some pictures I have taken.
