So we always get to celebrate close together. We decided to keep it low key this year, We headed down south. October 5, 2012. Part of fall, of course, also means, football! Last night I was able to go the the Utah vs. USC game. It was a lot of fun. The Utes lost, but to be honest, I've never been much of a Utes fan anyways. So my heart was not at all broken by the loss. (But I did feel bad for my date, his heart was a bit broken by it). We both have done our fair share of whale watching, but neither or us have seen the Orca whales in the wild.WHAT AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE. The scenery is BEAUTIFUL! And the whales were breath taking! We took the ferry back and forth to the islands and stayed in the little historic town of Friday Harbor and Anacortes! What a great time! Dan and whitney .
