Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Along with all the amazing Soul Cycle classes we also went out on the town a bit. Flew in and walked along the Santa Monica Pier. Hollywood Blvd and Rodeo Drive by day and Pasadena by night. Paddle Boarding in Long Beach. 6 classes in 2 1/2 days. This might sounds crazy and terrifying to many but it was actually one of the best experiences in my life! Determined that his special birthday would not be overshadowed by the birth of our new baby, I decided to throw him a birthday fiesta. It was a lot of work, but sooo worth it. Thursday, November 13, 2014. In October we took Rexy on his first real vacation! We were excited to show him the ocean (even though it wasn't the Pacific). He was an amazing traveler and we had such a great time! He loved sleeping at the beach inside his tent. I think the ocean waves put him to sleep (just like his sound machine at home! This tent was a lifesaver. We weren't sure about taking it with us but it was sooo worth it. It kept the sun, wind, and sand out so baby could sleep. Pompa and Gi Gi.

Jake and Sam — Let's Cook! It’s BBQ hour somewhere…. December 6, 2012. 1-1/2 lbs. large unpeeled shrimp, preferably with heads on. For the peri-peri sauce:. 1 tablespoon chopped garlic. 2 teaspoons of hot red pepper (flakes, cayenne, or piment d’Espelette, which is milder). 2 tablespoons lemon juice. 1 cup vegetable oil. Grill them on a hot barbeque for 1- 2 minutes a side, depending on their size. You can thread them on skewers if you think it’ll make them easier to handle. 1 tablespoon grated ginger.
