Spring Break. Again. To count. I am beyond excited. So I'm dropping off of the face of the earth at 6am tomorrow. No internet, of course, and probably not any phone, either. We're supposed to be back next Saturday, but there's always the chance we'll reconsider and never come back. I had really hoped to have time to post pics from the AMAZING Holi Festival we went to last weekend, but all you lovely people will just have to wait. On Love and Marriage. The wedding was beautiful and the bride and groom wer...

Saturday, February 19, 2011. Married People Are No Fun. So tonight I am writing my blog because I have thoughts on my mind. (Imagine! A couple of friends have recently blogged about being single. I've really enjoyed reading the thoughts on their minds. So here I go! Married people are no fun. - - My younger brother. So yeah, married people are no fun. It is the glory of the marriage state to refine by circumscribing our enjoyments. Here we can repose in safety.". I cannot deny that I have felt the glory ...

There's a Double Meaning In That: June 2011

Thursday, June 30, 2011. Summer is an Empty Black Sub-Space. Ever wonder what a teacher does with 2.27 months off? Here's my description of the first few weeks of summer for a teacher:. Also known as the post-school hangover. You sleep twelve to fifteen hours a day, watch TV, and read for fun, reveling in a life with no bells like a dog blissfully rolls in a pile of smelly garbage, tongue lolling about and eyes half rolled back into his head in pleasure. Weeks 2 and 3 -. And the outside world starts to s...

There's a Double Meaning In That: September 2012

Sunday, September 30, 2012. What's up with KPOP? Now that PSY's Gangnam Style has hit number one on iTunes and his video below has been viewed 281 million times, I would like to announce, like any self respecting Cake fan would ( http:/ www.youtube.com/watch? 0:47), that I heard it first. The main point of me telling you this is not to convince you that I am cooler than you (if you come to that conclusion on your own though, I approve), but rather to explain my magical journey into the world of KPOP.

ditzy but deep: HE LIVES
http://ditzybutdeep.blogspot.com/2011/04/he-lives.html
Musings of a student in Jerusalem. Monday, April 25, 2011. I am a part of the fellowship of the unashamed; the dye has been cast out. I have stepped over the line, the decision has been made. I am a disciple of Jesus Christ! I won’t look back, let up, slow down, or be still. My past is redeemed; my presence makes sense, my future is secure. I am finished and done with low living, small planning, colorless dreams, tamed, visions, worldly talking, cheap giving, and dwarfed goals. June 7, 2011 at 3:17 PM.

http://ditzybutdeep.blogspot.com/2011/04/262-in-jeru.html
Musings of a student in Jerusalem. Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Okay how cool was it to run a 10k in Jerusalem with their first Marathon? One of my top favorite moments is my life. I was truly. Running next to the Muslims who were going to prayer on Friday. See the Hasidic Jew run next to the runner. Running in the old city. Keep on Keepin on. April 13, 2011 at 4:06 AM. Thanks for documenting that wonderful event. :). April 13, 2011 at 4:43 PM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). O Galilee sweet Galilee.
