Crunch Time for the Last Time | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/04/15/crunch-time-for-the-last-time
Crunch Time for the Last Time. April 15, 2010. When I think about graduation, I get seized by nerves. Not because I think I won’t or I don’t have a job lined up (well maybe the job thing a little). It’s because I have a TON of stuff to do in the next few weeks and the thought of being so close to the end and failing is terrifying. I know if I put my nose to the proverbial grindstone I can do it. I still have a lot of hours to put in. Let’s get started. Posted by Jim Banks. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.
Personal Experience Story | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/03/31/personal-experience-story
March 31, 2010. In light of the fact that I don’t have time to attend the district meetings that were going to constitute the basis of my original idea of a personal experience story for class, I have decided to change my focus a little. I thought that instead of focusing on my hometown and all of its troubles, I’d do something a little more personal (that is the assignment, after all). Disturbing, I know. Posted by Jim Banks. The Start of Productivity | Jamescbanks's Blog
https://jamescbanks.wordpress.com/2010/04/08/the-end-of-laziness
The Start of Productivity. April 8, 2010. I made a promise to myself this week. With me nearing the end of the semester and my college career, I said, I am going to everything I can to end my semester of laziness. Yeah, that’s right. I can admit I’ve been pretty lazy this semester. That’s not to say that I’m not doing fairly well in my classes, but I can confidently say that I haven’ t exactly been trying my hardest. Things really hit home for me last night when my wife decided to make a Facebook. Build ...

Officially Almost Kind Of Done. May 3, 2010. I’m almost done. Just finished my last actual “assignment” of this semester. All that’s left is a couple of finals and then it’s real-world time. I can’t wait to get a job and be a productive adult. Plus, I got an invitation to head up Manhattan’s local Coffee Party USA. Group, which is a huge deal for me since politics is something that is so close to my heart. Everything seems to be falling in to place. I’m excited. Posted by Jim Banks.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. Laquo; Being “On”. March 26, 2010. Well, it’s been awhile since I have been able to post. This week has been more crazy than my entire life combine, it seems. I started off the week catching up on homework, working, sending wedding invitations, and interviewing at K-State. For those who don’t know what that process looks like, imagine two days full of campus/city tours and seven interviews, socials and the like. Intense! Till next time…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. April 18, 2010. Oh, the joys of writing. I really enjoy it, but especially when I write letters. Which is probably why this last assignment for class went pretty well. I enjoy writing letters to my friends and family back home, and it was fun to write a professional letter about something I encountered to a magazine. Hopefully they will publish it! Here’s where I am sending my article, check them out! Till next time…. Leave a Reply Cancel reply. Enter your comment here.

Just another WordPress.com weblog. March 10, 2010. Well, here I am, about to embark on yet another awesome job searching journey! I was accepted at Clemson University in South Carolina for a campus interview and Mark and I are leaving tomorrow after he is done working to drive the 16-hour treck to the east coast. I’m really excited; Mark and I enjoy traveling and stopping to hike, fulfill our tourist longings, catch up on each other’s life and plan our wedding. 🙂 Plus this awesome paw print:. Even as I ...

Will Marvel’s Civil War II be as late as Secret Wars? Last year, Marvel launched their Secret Wars. With the series delayed for months, they had to relaunch the universe before Secret Wars. Was over, leading to spoilers and fan frustration. Now Marvel’s pushing Civil War II. Their next major summer event, and while everyone involved is working as hard as possible to get the book out on time, from my perspective, it seems like Marvel may be repeating their mistakes. Titles were still months away from bein...

And so it begins again. I don't think I've ever worked harder on a placeholder site in my life. But here I am, piecing together a site which is HTML5/buzzword compliant. It's time to catch with the times, and there's no better way than to just get something out there. Look for more updates in the coming weeks. For now, let's just let the SEO flow.
