Just another WordPress.com site. The journey a hotelier makes to get to everest base camp. The journey begins and wanted: stunts for sponsorship! What a superb night on thursday! We raised over 5 thousand pounds and helped push the total up near 7,000 for the trek in total! Then on to Kathmandu on Tuesday for an overnight and meet up with the team. Then straight off to Lukla on Wednesday. Anyone got any tips on what to do in kathmandu for a day? Keep an eye on the blog for (hopefully) regular updates.

Toilets have Descended in to holes in the ground, I have a constant headache, although today’s is much worse, sleep is non-existent, and the walks are increasingly difficult. Right after Luke's extravaganza was over, James and I skipped town for a much-anticipated trip to PARIS! James had been there for work last year, and knew he had to take me sometime, without kids, so I could experience it, too. Nonna and Jeri were kind enough to watch the rugrats for us so we could go on this birthday/anniversary trip. All I can say is: WOW!
